The Great British Entrepreneur Awards, proudly supported by Allica Bank, has today announced the shortlist for its 2025 programme celebrating over 800 exceptional entrepreneurs from every nation and region of the UK.
Known as “The Grammys of Entrepreneurship”, the awards spotlight the most inspiring, innovative and impactful stories of ambitious entrepreneurs and their business success across the country. Now in its 13th year, the 2025 shortlist represents a powerful snapshot of UK entrepreneurship in action, from high-growth tech firms to purpose-led start-ups, all pushing boundaries and creating real impact.
Past winners include the founders of BrewDog, Grenade, ClearScore, Zilch, and Unbiased, many of whom were recognised early in their entrepreneurial journey by the awards.
This year’s finalists:
Employ over 25,000 people across the UK
Expect to create more than 9,000 new jobs over the next year
Generate a combined turnover of £2.25 billion
Represent an average business age of six years
