Good Morning {{ first name | 👋 }}!

We’re been hearing directly from business owners across the UK about their confidence in the wake of this week’s budget. Responses reveal a range of challenges, from rising costs to limited support, with many entrepreneurs finding the current climate especially tough.

We’d love to hear from you too. Your perspective is invaluable in helping us gauge how entrepreneurs are feeling right now.

Every response adds valuable insight into the reality of being an entrepreneur in the UK today. The survey takes just 5 minutes, and as a thank you, we’ll send you a £20 Ideas Fest 2025 voucher (early bird tickets have sold out, this will be redeemable when ticket sales reopen).

Here’s what some of of our respondents have said so far:

"For small business owners creating local jobs, the latest budget has been deeply discouraging. Many are making tough choices just to keep things going, from reducing staff hours to putting personal lives on hold."

"The budget is a disappointment. Entrepreneurs want to help grow the economy, but we’re not being heard. Costs are up, and it's making it harder to sustain growth in our businesses."

"Despite strong growth and significant contributions to the economy, we’re facing new tax burdens without access to support. We’ll have to make difficult financial decisions just to stay afloat."

"For sectors like aerospace, even a small share of budget allocations could unlock major economic growth. We hope the government makes the most of these opportunities."

"Being an entrepreneur means challenges. Though the UK offers some advantages, scale-ups are still missing the crucial support needed to truly thrive."

We’d love to hear your own perspective, as every response adds valuable insight into the reality of being an entrepreneur in the UK today.

Thank you in advance! Your response will make a real impact in amplifying the voice of UK businesses.

Kind regards,
