There’s something special about the start-up spirit in North East, Yorkshire & The Humber and last night, it was impossible to miss.

The 2025 UK StartUp Awards rolled into Leeds for the third stop on this year’s tour, and the energy in the room was unmatched. From first-time founders to fast-scaling teams, the businesses celebrated last night showed what happens when big ideas meet regional pride and serious determination.

Across every sector, the winners shared a common thread: they’re not waiting for change, they’re building it and these founders are proving that some of the UK’s boldest thinking is happening right here.

A huge congratulations to Tectonix Natural Stone, crowned North East, Yorkshire & The Humber StartUp of the Year. They’re one to watch, and a business that truly represents the drive and heart of this region.
